a brief history about the site, and some info about who is behind it all.


hello everyone, and welcome to fantasy desktops wallpaper creations. the next few paragraphs tell a brief story about the site. many thanks to all the visitors that come here everyday and to my webmaster friends who have linked to the site for years.


in december 2001 the first fantasy desktop was created. we had a small free hosting site which was popular with friends and locals. later on in october 2003 our first wallpaper of carmen electra was sent to thebeachwallpaper.com for posting with a great response. it can still be seen today. so we thought it was time to do better than posting on another site, so in december of 2003 the domain name was registered. since then techniques changed with diversity, style, artistic backgrounds, and worldly locations that are made on our computers to share with you.


as our regular visitors know, fantasy desktops is a small personal website, and i am not much different than most of you reading this. i have a day job, and a home in the suburbs. i have some good close friends, and spend time with my family members weekly. i own a nissan car and a hayabusa. i have some hobbies too. one of those hobbies is making wallpapers for fun and for you to download to your own desktop.


efforts are to create the wallpapers to look as realistic as possible, as if taken from a camera with real backdrops, however there is also the abstract backdrops to add change of style and diversity. detail is taken with depth of field, color associations, hair preservation, enhancements, shadows, shading, filters, and special effect brushes that make the difference with quality in the work. fantasy desktops is alive and well with regular updates of some of your favorite models and celebrities.
